What is the EdChoice Traditional Scholarship?
The EdChoice Traditional Scholarship is available for the following students:
- students attending a school that is listed on the Ohio Designated Schools List
- students that are homeless, in foster care, or placed in kinship care with a family member, or students placed with a legal guardian
- students that formerly received an Autism Scholarship or a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship , but no longer qualify for these options due to medical classification or special educational classification changing
- students that are siblings of a student that has been awarded an EdChoice Tradicional Scholarship the previous year
-EdChoice Traditional Scholarship is not income based or based on special education status

Deadline to apply for an EdChoice Traditional Scholarship is June 30, 2024
How Do We Apply for the EdChoice Traditional Scholarship?
First Time Applicants:
1. Complete the EdChoice Scholarship Application
2. Provide a copy of your child's birth certificate
3. Provide a copy of a utility bill in the name of the parent or guardian. Please refer to the Proof of Address sheet that lists acceptable forms of proof of address.
4. Return these items to the school office. They will upload these into the EdChoice Application portal on the Ohio Department of Educaton website.
Renewal Applicants:
1. Complete an EdChoice Scholarship Renewal Application
2. Provide a proof of address from the acceptable proof of address list
